Using descriptions and references provided by each of the players I conceptualized the look of the group and illustrated a lineup that could be used as visual reference throughout the campaign
This was another party visualization illustration similar to before. In both projects I placed a lot of emphasis on getting little details right, like where characters are looking and what their body language says about their personality.
These are all examples of character illustrations used for battle tokens and character sheet portraits.
I believe it's important to give players a visual representation that they feel truly embodies the character they've spent the past several months (or years!) getting to know. For that reason, the style and tone of a character portrait can vary wildly from one to the next.
